CLAIRE MORRISON
I'm currently a Data Scientist for the Jacksonville Jaguars where I do a mix of personnel and coaching related football analytics. I grew up in Sacramento, California but spent much of my summers with family in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan surrounded by the Great Lakes. After being a lifelong fan, I graduated from the University of Michigan where I worked on research aimed to understand the genetic and environmental influences of life stressors on health. I loved Ann Arbor so much I worked for 2 years post-undergrad as a Research Assistant in the Medical School examining neurological and psychiatric response to cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety and depression. I was accepted to the University of Colorado Boulder to complete a PhD in Behavioral, Psychiatric & Statistical Genetics. There, I studied a multitude of traits and behaviors, but my dissertation focused on elucidating the genetic architecture of sleep health and how sleep relates to external outcomes.
